The membership year runs from the 1st April to 31st March. First year subscription fees may be pro-rated from the month in which you join.
Walmersley golf club have equality in terms of membership and playing times. Men and ladies have the same rights and privileges.
For members that enjoy playing competitive golf, weekly competitions are as usually follows:
- Saturday: Men and ladies club competitions, variety of formats. Tee times available all day.
- Sunday: Mixed roll up stableford competitions, number of holes varies.
- Tuesday: Ladies club competitions, variety of formats. Tee times available all day.
- Wednesday: Mixed roll up stableford competitions choice of 9 or 18 holes.

Walmersley Golf Club has been awarded Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) status.
a) The club is open to the whole community without discrimination including those on low or modest incomes
b) Anyone able to demonstrate they cannot afford full membership will be entitled to join the club and participate fully at a cost of less than £520 a year
c) If you cannot afford ;full membership please apply in writing to The Hon Secretary providing information and any supporting documents that you have that demonstrate you cannot afford to pay the full membership fee
d) Each application will be considered on its merits. We may ask you for further information or supporting documents, as part of our application process.
